The Universal Theme introduced with APEX 5 is immensly good looking and comes with a powerful Theme Roller to customize it.
With that new theme most, if not all, older themes are obsolete.
That leaves us just with a few corporate designs which can’t (or don’t want to) be replaced by the UT.

Last year was very eventful at FOEX, which kept me occupied and kept me from blogging. Thankfully I managed to attend a few conferences and stay in touch with the community through Twitter and Slack on apex.world.
FOEX is growing a lot and needed a new website design, so we had a brainstorming meeting and decided to again build it in APEX.

Today (Tuesday March 27th 2012) started the first ODTUG APEX Plugin Competition. This is a chance for everybody to submit their self created Plugins to get reviewed, judged and maybe win one of the many Prizes available.
Plugins will be judged upon skill level of its creator. That means beginners and experts will not be in the same category, to make it fair to everyone.
Nowadays everything should be interactive and Web2.0 and AJAX, and again the Oracle Application Express Development Team has prepared something for us, that makes it easy to give our APEX Applications that interactive touch.
